Foreign Student Accommodation in England
Student Accommodation in Bournemouth for English Language Students
While you study in Britain at Bournemouth Business School International, our highly-accredited Business College and English Language School in Bournemouth, England, UK, it is important that you are comfortable in your domestic environment and that during your study programme you mix with as many native-speakers of English as possible and absorb the local culture in your everyday activities.
BBSI offer international students various accommodation options to suit your personal requirements, including homestay accommodation, executive homestay accommodation, hotel accommodation, bed & breakfast accommodation, or self-catering facilities. To ensure maximum exposure to the English language and British culture during your stay in England, however, we would advise all trainees, including young executives and professionals, to reside with local British families.
Homestay Accommodation
One of the best ways to ´acquire´ the English language outside the classroom and to experience the British culture is to live with a British family. BBSI homestay accommodation includes a comfortable single study/bedroom and is available on part-board basis (breakfast and evening meal Monday-Friday, with full-board facilities (all meals) at weekends); on a bed and breakfast basis; or on a self-catering basis. Families are located close to the School and are inspected regularly to ensure that high standards of accommodation and care are continually met and maintained.
Executive Homestay Accommodation
The Executive Homestay option provides accommodation in an exclusive residential area, with study/bedrooms of above-average size and with en-suite/private bathroom facilities. Moreover, many of our executive rooms have television and Internet connection included. Accommodation is available on a part-board basis (breakfast and evening meals Monday-Friday, with full-board facilities (all meals) at weekends), on a bed and breakfast basis or on a self-catering basis. Families are located close to the School and are inspected regularly to ensure that high standards of accommodation and care are continually met and maintained.
Residential Accommodation
BBSI can organise residential accommodation on a self-catering, room only, or a bed and breakfast basis. Fees will vary according to location and room type.

Guest Houses & Hotels
BBSI can recommend several small, friendly guest houses and hotels close to our premises that would suit all budgets. You can choose a room with or without a private bathroom, and breakfast is included. Dinner can also be provided on request.
Welfare Facilities
BBSI staff have developed a unique understanding of international students and we recognise that individuals have widely different welfare and cultural needs. Our policy is to provide and maintain a safe and healthy environment for study. Welfare staff are therefore on hand throughout normal School opening hours and emergency staff are contactable at weekends and overnight. We also insist on high standards in equipment and operating systems, and provide the necessary information, training and supervision required to ensure those standards are maintained throughout the School. We also accept full responsibility for the health and safety of all people associated with BBSI. The British Council has provided a personal safety guide for international students; this information is available at http://www.educationuk.org/. If you have enrolled on a course at BBSI or are thinking of doing so, you will probably have many questions. The UKCISA website, at http://www.ukcisa.org.uk/ provides some very helpful advice for students. The information on this site is divided into several sections and the links to the sections are as follows:
The BBSI ethos is based on the work-hard, play-hard principle. In addition to a sound and intensive academic programme, students are encouraged in every way possible to enjoy their leisure time to the full. The school has a varied and extensive social and sports programme.
Religious Observance
When compiling weekly timetables the school makes every effort to allow trainees to observe their religious faiths.
Medical Care
All necessary medical arrangements are made for trainees who become unwell, and medical treatment is normally provided free by the British National Health Service in the event of an accident or emergency. Insurance cover is necessary, however, to cover the cost of non-emergency treatment, including dental and optical care.
