Student Accommodation in Bournemouth for English Language Students
Homestay Accommodation
One of the best ways to 'acquire' the English language outside the classroom and to experience British culture is to live with a British family. BBSI homestay accommodation includes a comfortable single study/bedroom, and is available on a part-board basis (breakfast and evening meal Monday-Friday, with full-board facilities (all meals) at weekends); on a bed and breakfast basis; or on a self-catering basis. Our families are inspected regularly to ensure that standards of accommodation and care are met and maintained.

Residential Accommodation
BBSI organises residential accommodation on a self-catering, room-only, bed and breakfast or dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Our main residence is a university-style, self-catering facility just 2 minutes from the School. Fees will vary according to location and room type. Further information regarding the The Outlook Residence is available via http://www.theoutlookbournemouth.co.uk/. BBSI also organises hotel-style residential accommodation in a number of locations close to the centre of town, in which rooms are available either as room only or bed and breakfast.
Residential Accommodation, Room Only
Guest Houses & Hotels
BBSI can recommend several other small, friendly guest houses and hotels close to the School that would suit all budgets. You can choose a room with or without a private bathroom, and breakfast is included. Dinner can also be provided on request.
Welfare Facilities
BBSI staff recognise that individuals have widely different welfare and cultural needs. Our policy is to provide and maintain a safe and healthy environment for study. Welfare staff are therefore on hand throughout normal School opening hours and emergency staff are contactable at weekends and overnight.
The British Council provides a personal safety guide for international students; this information is available at http://www.educationuk.org/.
If you have enrolled on a course at BBSI or are thinking of doing so, you will probably have many questions. The UKCISA website, at http://www.ukcisa.org.uk/ provides some very helpful advice to students.
Religious Observance
When compiling weekly timetables the school makes every effort to allow trainees to observe their religious faiths.
Medical Care
All necessary medical arrangements are made for trainees who become unwell, and medical treatment is normally provided free by the British National Health Service in the event of an accident or emergency. Insurance cover is necessary, however, to cover the cost of non-emergency treatment, including dental and optical care.
