The BBSI summer course Marketing & Business Skills with English, conducted at our Summer School in Bournemouth, Britain, is available in 2 study options: a 20-lesson weekly (MBS 20) study programme and, a more intensive 30-lesson study programme (MBS 30). Both study options are designed for those with an English language level of Intermediate or above, who have a work or study-related background in marketing, business or administration, and who are seeking to hone their marketing and business English skills and combine their study with a busy social and activity programme. The maximum class is 15.
The course can be joined on any Monday during the period June-September annually. Students take an English test on arrival at BBSI and are then counselled in respect of their study programme prior to being placed in international classes at an English language level to suit their needs. On successful completion, students gain a recognised business English qualification.
MBS 20 Study Option
The MBS 20 focuses on the study of current marketing issues and business concepts, and is designed to enable students to develop appropriate business English language vocabulary and professional communication skills. The course combines study in current marketing issues with targeted business case studies.

- develop confidence and fluency in the English language beyond Intermediate Level
- provide participants with the opportunity to acquire an accredited business English qualification
On completion of the course, participants will have enhanced their basic knowledge of business and international marketing, and will have developed their ability to use English language effectively in a professional, business and social context. In addition, students will have developed an extensive range of professional communication skills.

The teaching materials utilised are varied, are mainly authentic, and include audio and video facilities. The additional component in the MBS 30 is specifically designed to build confidence in English through active participation in such activities as decision-making, simulations and role-play.
