Pre-Masters Courses in Marketing, Advertising & PR


Bournemouth Business School International (BBSI), our highly-accredited business college and English language school in Britain, offers international students the opportunity to study a pre-Masters course in Britain while also studying marketing and business concepts, and acquiring the advanced study skills required for postgraduate entry to a British university. 

Our Pre-Masters courses in Marketing are carefully designed for international graduates with either a first degree or equivalent, or a higer diploma and relevent work experience, who are seeking to enhance their career prospects by undertaking a postgraduate degree course at a UK university.  The courses are available in 12, 24 or 36-week study options, all include extensive IELTS Examination Preparation  and Advanced Study Skills .  The Higher-Certificate and Diploma study options lead to an additional NCFE award.  Courses are conducted around a busy social and activity programme. 

UK University Placement Service.  While undertaking pre-Masters courses at BBSI, students are provided with extensive counseling and guidance in all aspects of postgraduate study at UK universities.  We also provide full assistance with the university application process. 

University Entry Requirements.  The majority of UK universities require that postgraduate students seeking entry to a masters course must be a minimum of 21 years of age on entry and have a minimum English-language level of IELTS 6.5 - IELTS 7.0, depending on the course and university of choice. 

Study Options. There are 3 study options for this Pre-Masters course:
12-Week Certificate Course.  For those students with limited study time, a minimum Upper-Intermediate level in English, or who already have a firm offer from a UK university, we provide a 12-week study option. 
24-Week Higher-Certificate Course.  For those students with a minimum Upper-Intermediate level in English or above, we offer a Pre-Masters Higher-Certificate study option.
36-Week Diploma Course.  For those students with an Intermediate Level in English or above, we offer a 36-week Pre-Masters Diploma study option.

Minimum Entry Level.  IELTS 5.5 (Upper-Intermediate)
Course Duration.  12 weeks
Course Designation.  PMP 12
Main Course Entry Dates.  January, April, July or September (term dates 2010)
Lessons Weekly.  30 (each of 45 minutes´ duration)
Minimum Age. 21 years
