University Foundation Courses.  Our University Foundation courses in Finance & Financial Services are designed for those seeking to study a first degree at a UK university.  Our foundation courses are carefully designed to enable students at an Intermediate level in English or above to improve their English in the context of finance, economics or financial services and their related fields, prepare for undergraduate entry to university and also gain worthwhile business and finance qualifications.  Depending on the student's academic background and current level in English, the course is available in 24-week, Higher-Certificate or 36-week, Diploma, study options. Depending on the study option selected, awards include either a BBSI Higher-Certificate or Diploma qualification, plus an NCFE Certificate. Additionally, students can prepare for and acquire up to 3 different University of Cambridge ESOL qualifications selected from the First Certificate in English (FCE), the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), or the Business English Certificate (BEC); whilst also preparing for the International Certificate in Financial English (ICFE), a professional financial English qualification. The course syllabus includes extensive IELTS Examination Preparation and Academic Study Skills. BBSI provides students with a comprehensive UK university placement service, and if the required grades are achieved, students are assured of entry to a UK university.
