Bournemouth Business School International (BBSI), our Business and English Language College in Bournemouth, UK, offers international students a variety of courses in Finance & Financial Services. BBSI delivers its Finance courses in different formats to suit the personal requirements of its clients and also their specific training objectives. We offer flexible 12-week, Certificate; 24-week, Higher-Certificate; and 36-week, Diploma, study options. There are 3 categories of study programme:
Specialised Courses: Certificate (4-12 weeks), Higher-Certificate (24 weeks), or Diploma (36 weeks)
University Foundation Courses: Higher-Certificate (24 weeks), or Diploma (36 weeks)
Pre-Masters Courses: Certificate (12 weeks), Higher-Certificate (24 weeks), or Diploma (36 weeks)
Specialised Courses. The BBSI specialised study options in Finance & Financial Services are designed for those who wish to return home with enhanced English-language skills and professional skills and knowledge. Our specialised courses are carefully designed to enable students at an Intermediate level in English or above to improve their English in the context of finance, economics or financial services and their related fields. Depending on individual requirements and the student's current level in English, the course is available in 4-12-week, Certificate; 24-week, Higher-Certificate; or 36-week, Diploma, study options. Each course comprises 30 lessons weekly, and all students who successfully complete the course will gain a BBSI award. Moreover, those students who successfully complete the Higher-Certificate or Diploma study options will gain a BBSI award and an additional NCFE award. Additionally, students can prepare for and acquire up to 3 different University of Cambridge ESOL examinations selected from the First Certificate in English (FCE), the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), or the Business English Certificate (BEC); whilst also preparing for the International Certificate in Financial English (ICFE), a professional financial English qualification. BBSI is an accredited ICFE Examination Centre.
Pre-Masters Courses. Our Pre-Masters courses in Finance & Financial Services are designed for those wishing to prepare for a UK Postgraduate course in the UK. Our Pre-Masters courses are designed for international students at an Intermediate level in English or above, with either a first degree or equivalent, or a higher diploma and relevant work experience, who are seeking to improve their English in the context of finance, economics or financial services and their related fields, and enhance their career prospects by undertaking a postgraduate degree course in business or finance. The aim is to gain academic English, finance and business qualifications awarded by BBSI and the NCFE national awarding body. Depending on the student's academic background and current level in English, the course is available in 12-week, Certificate; 24-week, Higher-Certificate; or 36-week, Diploma, study options. Depending on the study option selected, students will have the opportunity to prepare for and acquire up to 3 different University of Cambridge ESOL qualifications selected from the First Certificate in English (FCE), the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), or the Business English Certificate (BEC); whilst also preparing for the International Certificate in Financial English (ICFE), a professional financial English qualification. The course syllabus includes extensive preparation for the IELTS Examination and Advanced Study Skills. BBSI provides students with a comprehensive UK university placement service, and if the required grades are achieved, students are assured of entry to a UK university.
