Bournemouth Business School International (BBSI) offer English Language Courses to international students, giving them the opportunity to study English in England, and provides the education facilities for students to acquire important English-language qualifications. Our English language courses are modular in format so that students can join a course at any time throughout the year and study for periods that suit their personal circumstances. We offer a choice of 3 English language study programmes:
General English (1-50 weeks)
Academic English & IELTS Examination Preparation (4-48 weeks)
General English, Computing & IT Skills (4-12 weeks)
General English. Students will develop competent English language communication skills on our General English courses, and those who attend for 12 or more weeks can study for and a acquire one of a range of different University of Cambridge ESOL qualifications: the First Certificate in English (FCE), the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), or the Business English Certificate (BEC).
Academic English & IELTS Examination Preparation. Available to those students who have an Intermediate level in English or above, our course in Academic English & IELTS Examination Preparation is suited to those students who seek to improve their English for academic purposes and gain an internationally-recognised English language qualification to prove their language ability to universities, colleges of further education and future employers.
General English, Computing & IT Skills. Our course in General English, Computing & IT Skills enables students to acquire sound English language communication skills, while also developing their knowledge of Microsoft software, computers, computing and IT. Those students choosing the full 12-week study option can obtain the International Computer Driving License® (ICDL) qualification.
